Bodyworks Massage Policies

Dual Fee Structure

I understand that Bodyworks Massage LLC uses a dual fee structure. The listed prices are for a cash transaction only. All Credit/Debit transactions are subject to an additional 3.95% fee to cover credit card processing fees. (Ex: a $100.00 cash service is a $103.95 credit service.)

Cancellations/Rescheduling

If you must cancel/reschedule your appointment, we require that you cancel/reschedule at least 24-hours before your scheduled appointment time.

If you are a no-call no-show, you will be required to make a 50% deposit for all future appointments. Management reserves the right to require a credit card be placed on file to cover any deposit.


Same day cancellations: In an effort to avoid forfeiting the deposit; I can send a friend/family member as my replacement for the appointment. However, I understand that I MUST NOTIFY Bodyworks Massage LLC of the change AND I understand that if they also cancel/reschedule/or miss the appointment I will still forfeit the deposit.


Pregnant Clients: If I go into labor within 24 hours of an appointment, I agree to notify Bodyworks Massage LLC and the cancellation fee will be waived. If I go into labor and do not notify Bodyworks Massage LLC, and I miss my appointment, I understand this qualifies as a no-call no-show.


Arriving on Time/Session Length

I understand that I should arrive 10-15 minutes early for my appointment in order to get the full session time I have scheduled. Arriving early allows time for paperwork, talking with my therapist to create a session treatment plan, changing, and using the bathroom, if needed. If I arrive on time, or late, I understand my massage has started without me, and the therapist can only give me whatever time remains of my appointment and I will pay the full session fee. 



Communication

I understand that in order for me to receive the best massage therapy possible, I know that I have to communicate ANYTHING and everything, including my needs, preferences, requests, or feedback, at any time before, during, or after my massage. I take it upon myself to communicate right away if there is anything distracting me or if I feel unwell or uncomfortable at any time during the session so that adjustments can be made. I understand that my therapist wants my HONEST feedback - positive or negative - and does not take offense to it.




Privacy Policy

This practice is committed to the privacy of its clients. Personal information is treated as confidential and is used only for the purpose for which it was collected. Information kept on file will not be released to a third party without the express consent of the client or as required by law.

Client Waiver Form

Please take a moment to read and sign the following information:

 

 

●     I understand that massage therapy is provided for stress reduction, relaxation, relief from muscular tension, and improvement of circulation and energy flow.


●     If I experience pain or discomfort during the session, I will immediately inform my therapist so that pressure/strokes can be adjusted to my level of comfort. I will not hold my therapist responsible for any pain or discomfort I experience during or after the session.


●     I understand that the services offered today are not a substitute for medical care. I understand that my therapist is not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental illness.


●     I affirm that I have notified my therapist of all known medical conditions and injuries.


●     I agree to inform the therapist of any changes in my health and medical condition. I understand that there shall be no liability on the therapist’s part should I forget to do so.


●     I understand that massage is entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.


●     I understand that, because massage therapy work involves maintaining touch and close physical proximity over an extended period of time, there may be an elevated risk of disease transmission, including COVID19.


●     By signing this release, I hereby waive and release my therapist from any and all liability, past, present, and future relating to massage therapy and bodywork.




Tips to Have a Perfect Massage Therapy Session

Open communication with your therapist is critical! If there is anything that you would like done differently for your comfort or preference, please communicate your needs to your therapist at any point during your massage. It is our commitment to help you get to wellness as soon as possible. Your comfort and satisfaction are our TOP priority!

Parking Tips

Our building can be tricky to find the first time, so you may want to print this out and bring it with you:


  • We’re located at 310 N. Limestone St UNIT B – Gaffney, SC 29340
  • We’re in the alley between the Capri Theater and the building next door: Peach City Brewery.
  • Down the alley – we’re the 3rd black and white awning on the left.
  • Parking is available behind our building on the left, sometimes space is available in the alley, or across the street at the MediMart and walk through Peach City Brewery's outdoor seating area.


To get behind our building; take the road directly behind Capri Theater -- Courthouse Alley gravel parking lot will be on your left (next to the big blue dumpster). We're the 2nd B&W awning on the right.
